Bogacica: Village of Natural Riches
Accommodation in Bogacica
In a description of community tourism published in 2020, Bogacica is described as one of twelve themed villages in the Stobrawa Valley and as the “Village of Natural Riches.” Nature is therefore part of Bogacica’s profile. Several other aspects can enrich your travel plans: the architectural history of the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity, an educational offering by the Stowarzyszenie Wsi Bogacica “Bogatalanta” association, and natural monuments in the surrounding area. Bogacica thus combines nature themes with cultural history and local learning.

Church History in Bogacica
The brick Parish Church of the Holy Trinity was built between 1797 and 1805 next to the old church. Its furnishings include a Baroque altarpiece from the 17th century, which came from the Franciscan church in Namysłów. The construction period and the altarpiece’s origins provide two specific starting points for exploring Bogacica’s cultural history. The different historical periods—the church’s construction at the turn of the 19th century and the older Baroque work—give the village’s history a distinctive character.
Educational Offerings and Nature in the Surrounding Area
The Stowarzyszenie Wsi Bogacica “Bogatalanta” association has created an educational offering in Bogacica for children, young people, adults, study groups, and other interested people. The offering is intended for children, young people, adults, study groups, and other interested people; program details may change. If you would like to include it in your plans, ask about the current options.
An avenue of nine pedunculate oaks stands on the road from Bogacica to Nowa Bogacica. The trees are between 300 and 400 years old and are protected as natural monuments. This nearby row of trees is a specific natural feature in the area around the village; it should be distinguished from the sights in the village center.
Routes and Guidance for Active Days
The 44-kilometer yellow trail “Szlakiem dawnego rzemiosła i pomników przyrody” (Trail of Former Crafts and Natural Monuments) passes through Bogacica. It connects the village with a longer route; route details may change, so it is a good idea to check the latest information before setting out.
There is a specific guidance note for canoes on section 50.4 near Bogacica: four closely spaced low weirs lie in the riverbed below the bridge; canoes are carried along the right bank. Conditions may change, so check the latest guidance if you plan to cover this section.
The wider travel destination of Kluczbork also lists the red “Gościnne zagrody” (Friendly Homesteads) cycling route. It is 40 kilometers long and passes through Kluczbork, Bąków, Brzezinka, Biadacz, Maciejów, and Łowkowice. At 40 kilometers, the red cycling route is four kilometers shorter; its route through the listed places differs from the 44-kilometer yellow trail through Bogacica. Information about both routes is a helpful guide, but does not replace checking the latest route details.
