The atonement cross in Modliszów, associated with a stone shrine, is said to be a unique example in Poland.

The atonement cross was excavated and re-erected on 28 March 2009. Its total height is 180 cm; its current dimensions are 58 × 150 cm.

A stone atonement shrine is set into the church wall to the left of the entrance. It has a pointed arch and a raised cross and is made of conglomerate.

The atonement cross in Modliszów is tentatively associated with an agreement from 1409 that was concluded following the killing of Mikołaj Dreylinga.
