The Przełomy pod Książem nature reserve is located in the municipalities of Wałbrzych and Świebodzice and protects sections of the Pełcznica and Szczawnik rivers. The Bolko yew tree grows in the Pełcznica district of Świebodzice; its age is estimated at around 600 years.
Culture
St. Nicholas Church in Åšwiebodzice is a Gothic church with Baroque alterations in the historic center of the town. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is also part of the architectural heritage; it is a late Baroque church built as a Protestant church between 1776 and 1779.
Świebodzice Town Hall is an early Neoclassical building constructed between 1789 and 1791 to a design by the architect Christian Friedrich Schultze. Along Piłsudskiego Street, sections of the town walls have survived to this day; they were partially reconstructed in the 20th century.

The Szlak Tkaczy cycling route begins in Świebodzice; its name refers to the textile industry tradition of Świebodzice and Kamienna Góra. The black Droga Węglowa cycling route (K3) is planned to pass through Świebodzice and runs mostly along unpaved roads in the Sud foothills.
