Warsaw invites to the Festival of Documentary Films

In the Polish capital of Warsaw has started 10th anniversary annual International Festival of documentary films on human rights - WATCH DOCS.
WATCH DOCS International Documentary Film Festival is a unique Polish Film Festival presenting the art of documentary filmmaking. Annually in the Festival program of WATCH DOCS includes more than a hundred high-documentary films from around the world.
WATCH DOCS Documentary Film Festival, which is held annually in Warsaw, is the biggest festival of documentary films in Poland, with an audience of more than 70 000 people, and the second largest film festival in the sphere of documentary films on human rights.
Documentary Film Festival has an excellent reputation in Europe and worldwide, and enjoys the support of the most prominent organizations in the world of cinema and human rights, among which are the Open Society Institute (New York), the European Commission, the Polish Film Institute, the Polish Foundation for Civil Initiative, the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, the Warsaw Municipal Office for Culture, the Embassies of the Netherlands, France, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.
The program of WATCH DOCS festival of documentary films will include not only works of famous documentary filmmakers, but also held numerous seminars and trainings.
Also at the festival will be held a documentary film competition with following nominees: All That Glitters (Czech Republic), As Lilith (Israel), Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu (Romania), Closing in on Tanja (Netherlands), El Sicario - Room 164 ( Italy), Enemies of the People (Great Britain, Cambodia), Eyes That Do Not See (Argentina), Freedom Riders (USA), Kapitalism - Our Improved Formula (Romania), Nowhere in Europe (Germany, Poland), Pink Saris (India , United Kingdom), Postcard to Daddy (Germany), Presumed Guilty (Mexico), The Two Escobars (Columbia, USA), To Fight For: The Year of Decision (Germany), War Don Don (Sierra Leone, United States), Winds of Sand. Women of Rock (Austria, Belgium, France).

Photo month festival begins in Krakow
