Forest and lake

The Harcerska Baza Obozowa Cyranka is established by scouts for scouts. It is located in a pine and spruce forest on the northern shore of Lake Gołdapiwo. Its purpose and location each offer a different emphasis: the Baza is scout-oriented, while its location describes a specific lakeside and forest setting. Kayaking route and cycling route

The kayaking route on the Sapina passes through the operating lock in Przerwanki. Check the lock’s current operating conditions before setting off. In Przerwanki, the Wokół Jeziora Gołdapiwo cycling route passes the single-chamber lock. Before setting off, it is also advisable to check the current route conditions.

The routes differ in how you travel and in the role of the lock: on the kayaking route, you pass through the structure; on the cycling route, you ride past it. This lets you decide whether you would rather experience Przerwanki from the water or as part of a cycling tour.

Lock and bunkers

The Przerwanki lock on the Sapina was built in 1910 and is a single-chamber lock. The year of construction places the structure in time; the description of its design adds a technical detail to the historical date. It refers to the number of chambers and briefly describes the construction. Bunkers from the First and Second World Wars stand beside the lock. Przerwanki thus brings together different types of historic structures: the lock as part of the water infrastructure and bunkers associated with two periods of war. Rybaczówka

The site’s building history can therefore be explored through several themes: water infrastructure, bunkers from two world wars, and a preserved building that exemplifies earlier construction methods.
