Regional dance group competitions

For the 22nd Regional Dance Group Competition in Borki-Wyrki in 2024, formations, mini-formations and folk dance groups were invited to take part. The programme was set to include ice dance, ballroom dance, dances from other nations, show dance, hip-hop and cheerleading formations. Different groups were invited to participate in 2024; the dance styles formed part of the planned programme.

In 2025, Borki-Wyrki hosted the Regional Dance Group Competition for the 23rd time. Ensembles from several counties in the Siedlce, Łuków, Sokołów, Węgrów and Radzyń regions performed folk dances and modern choreography there. In 2025, ensembles from several counties in the five regions named above actually performed folk dances and modern choreography.

The 24th edition was announced for 22 May 2026. Preschool children and primary and secondary school students were expected to take part, and the performances were intended for an audience. The editions mentioned differ in their focus: in 2024, the groups invited and dance styles; in 2025, the dances actually performed; and in 2026, the participant groups and performances planned for an audience. Participation, the programme performed and the planned audience format are distinct things. Village community hall: hire by arrangement

The village community hall can occasionally be hired for a fee for private or business meetings, conferences, celebrations and family events. Use of the hall must be arranged in advance with the person in charge. You must submit the application to Zbuczyn Municipal Office at least ten days before the event. So, if you are planning your own gathering during your stay, both arranging the date and allowing enough advance notice are important. Check with the person in charge whether the hall is available on your preferred date and what conditions currently apply before making plans around it.

Planned bus stops on DK2

Two bus stop construction projects were planned for Borki-Wyrki on DK2: one towards Międzyrzec Podlaski and the other towards Siedlce. These are planned projects.
