The Regional Museum has been housed in the town hall tower at Rynek 43 since 1964. The Chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene continues to serve as a place of worship; it also hosts historical and art exhibitions. The Castle and Seasonal Visits
Pułtusk Castle stands on a hill on the banks of the Narew. It was once the residence of the Bishops of Płock; today it is Dom Polonii, a conference and hotel centre. The former Jesuit storerooms at Wzgórze Abrahama are a separate seasonal attraction. Visits are available from May to September on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. As visiting hours may change, it is advisable to check before setting out.

The Szlak Borów Nadnarwiańskich begins in Pułtusk on Bartodziejska Street, passes near the Popławy Nature Reserve and continues towards Zatory. The Szlak Wielkiej Przygody runs from Pułtusk through Popławy, the Wielgolas Nature Reserve, Obryte and Sadykierz to the village of Komorowo. Another hiking trail runs from Pułtusk through Ponikiew and Szygłówek to Gnojno. The named destinations and intermediate stops can help you distinguish the routes by their course. Popławy Nature Reserve is notable for pine stands more than 180 years old; Wielgolas is one of the oldest sections of Puszcza Biała. Bartnia Nature Reserve protects naturally established pine stands. It also encompasses a 150-year-old pine forest and serves as a nesting site for grey herons, whose activity is seasonal.
The historic buildings across the wider Powiat pułtuski offer their own points of interest: Sokołowo Włościańskie has a wooden church from the 17th century and a bell tower. Zambski Kościelne has a church built in 1890.
