The artificial Mietkowski Reservoir covers more than 900 hectares and is considered the municipality of Mietków’s biggest tourist attraction. A long-distance cycling route

The EuroVelo 9 also passes through the agricultural and forested areas of the municipality of Mietków. The route runs from Gdańsk through Wrocław to Olomouc in the Czech Republic, passing the dam on the Bystrzyca along the way. Unlike the two circular routes around Zalew Mietkowski, EuroVelo 9 is part of a route from Gdańsk via Wrocław to Olomouc.
