The buildings’ former uses thus ranged from a school and chapel to an inn, crafts, and everyday services. Location between transport routes and a protected area
Golęczewo lies between the national road and the Poznań–Piła railway line, with the Biedrusko military training area on one side and the Dolina Samicy Kierskiej protected area on the other.
