Cycling and hiking

The yellow Pleszew–Lenartowice–Tursko hiking trail is 14.0 kilometres long. At kilometre 6.1, it crosses the paved road from Brzezie to Zawidowice.
Culture and history
Since 1945, a brick wayside chapel has stood in the western part of Zawidowice. It has the form of a square pillar with a tent roof and a metal cross. A plaque bears the inscription “Ave Maria”; there is also a figure of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a reproduction of the image of Divine Mercy.
The manor complex in Zawidowice comprises a main courtyard, the remains of a smaller eastern farmyard and a settlement of former manor workers’ houses located along the main access road. The complex also includes preserved sections of the brick wall with gates, the ruin of a granary barn built in the 19th century and burned down in 1976, as well as the former steward’s house.
Nature
In the vicinity of Zawidowice lie the Glinianki, a nature refuge with one large pond and several smaller ponds in an abandoned clay-mining area. The shallow ponds have species-rich shoreline and aquatic vegetation and provide a habitat for around 300 fire-bellied toads, several hundred spring emerald damselflies, other dragonfly species and the large copper butterfly.
The yellow hiking trail runs through fields, then through a small forest and down through a densely wooded, gorge-like floodplain of the Ner River.
Stara Stajnia
The “Stara Stajnia” equestrian centre in Zawidowice runs a riding school for beginners and advanced riders and offers specialised show-jumping training. “Stara Stajnia” also offers guided horseback rides.
As a restaurant, “Stara Stajnia” serves home-style cooking and drinks, including refreshing beer. In addition, the establishment offers catering and invites guests to hold private celebrations in its own premises.
A Nordic walking competition was held annually on the grounds of “Stara Stajnia” and in the forests of Zawidowice.
