As part of the “Historia i przyroda to atuty Kiszkowa” project, the green cycling trail is the longest designated route. The 29.7 km R-8 circular cycling route also runs through Węgorzewo and is one of around twelve designated connecting routes around the Puszcza Zielonka.

The R-8 circular cycling route leads from Węgorzewo via Skrzetuszewo to the Brama III Tysiąclecia at Lake Lednica. The green cycling trail leaves Węgorzewo in a westerly direction, runs along the Kiszkowo–Pobiedziska district road and, after approximately 200 m, branches off onto a field path towards Turostowo. The red cycling trail leads towards Brudzewko and reaches the voivodeship road.

At the central road junction in Węgorzewo, near the figure of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the red and green cycling trails intersect.

Culture

The manor house in Węgorzewo is a brick building and a late Classicist structure dating from the first half of the 19th century. Inside, an original wooden ceiling-end ornament and an exposed wall showing the construction of the building have been preserved.
