Its own water park will be created in the Polish city of Koszalin. Construction will be funded with the participation of the Western Pomerania authorities. The main developer will be the Sport Facilities Management company. Construction of the Water Park in Koszalin will be completed by 2014. Its total cost will exceed 2 million Euros. The funds will be allocated from the EU funds.

For Koszalin this project promises to be one of the key markers that will greatly increase investment attractiveness of the region. Currently Koszalin prepares to organize a tender for the construction of the water park.

Conditions of the tender has not yet announced in the media. It is only known that potential contractors have 60 days to make an application.
According to the portal onet.pl, the total cost of the water parks construction in Koszalin will be 73 million zlotys. 60 million of them will be received as a long-term credit for 20 years.

The total area of the water park, according to the project, will be 18 thousand square meters. The facility will be located in the east part of Koszalin between the Helmska Mountain and the national highway Szczecin-Gdansk.

For the water park guests will be built a pool with artificial waves, water amusement complex in the UFO form, a swimming pool, several recreation areas, a spa complex and a special area for sunbathing. In order to solve the problem of parking, close to the water park in Koszalin will be built a parking for 350 cars.

The project of the water park in Koszalin was developed by the PÅ‚askowicka & Partnerzy architectural company from Warsaw. Koszalin authorities expect to begin construction of the water park in spring 2012. The object is scheduled to be launched in 2014. The water park is expected to cover the investments by 2023.
