In Warsaw will play the king of Latin guitar Carlos Santana

One of the most famous and titled contemporary guitarists Carlos Santana will give a concert in Poland. Latin American guitar legend will perform in Warsaw at Legia Stadium on June 22, 2011. It is reported by Polish radio warsawvoice.pl.

Santana concert in Poland will be held as a part of the musician's world tour, timed to the release of his new album "Guitar Heaven... The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Times". The tour itself was named in honor of the album - "Santana Guitar Heaven".

Santana will visit Poland for the second time. On June 27, 2008 musician’s show was presented to the Polish public at another Warsaw stadium Gvardia. Then Santana played many of his world-famous hits, including Maria and Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen.

Tickets for Santana concert in Warsaw are now on sale. In particular, it can be purchased on the official Santana fan site santanafanclub.com. Ticket price is $146.47 USD (as of 04/04/2011).

In addition to Warsaw Santana will visit a number of other European cities. Among the most notable shows, which will be held in the framework of his tour, most notable is performance of Santana on the stage of an ancient Greek amphitheater in Taormina, on the island of Sicily.

Carlos Santana is considered to be the inventor of a unique guitar style, which blends elements of Latin music, salsa, jazz, blues and soul. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine named Santana the 15th in the list of 100 greatest guitarists of all times. During his career Santana has won 10 Grammies.
