Hotels in Poland: 10 new Super 8
(Economy in Poland)
One of the leading hotel chains in the world will open in Poland 10 hotels. Wyndham Hotel Group corporation, which is considered as the largest in the world by the number of hotels under its management, has signed a contract to open in several cities of Poland hotels under the Super 8 brand.
The Super 8 brand is a network of budget hotels, most of which are represented in the U.S. market. The arrival of the American player on the Polish market is easily explained - Poland is becoming an increasingly attractive region for hoteliers due to the upcoming European Football Championship in 2012.
It is worth noting that not all hotels will have time to open before the European football championship. Super 8 network development plan in Poland is designed for five years.
Signing of a contract to promote the Super 8 in Poland took place at the Berlin International Hotel Forum (IHIF), which was held in the capital of Germany on 7-9 March 2011.
Currently development of budget hotel networks in Poland is actively promoted not only by the large international corporations, but also by the Polish ones. In early 2011 was announced about opening in Poland the first national network of budget hotels - Chaber. The first hotel of the network was opened not far from Krakow. By year-end brand owners are planning to open another three hotels: in Lodz, Bialystok and Cziborz.
Super 8 is the world's largest chain of budget hotels, most of which offers its services in the U.S. and Canada. It was founded in 1972. Network received its name because of price policy. Originally a room in Super 8 could be rent for 8.88 dollars. The number of hotel in the network exceeds 2,100.
