Poland: big concerts in 2011

(Culture in Poland)

Showbiz life of Poland in 2011 promises to be exceptionally rich. Several major international stars will perform in the cities of Poland in the coming months.

Among the musicians, who have chosen Poland this year, are: the daughter of Sting, Bryan Adams and Foo Fighters.

Eliot Pauline Sumner is a vivid example that nature has been working tirelessly. The daughter of Sting and now the front woman of I Blame Coco band, acting under the stage name Coco Sumner, will present in Poland her debut album "The Constant". The presentation will take place in Warsaw in Stodola Club on March 20. Her music is an explosive cocktail of such directions as pop, rock, ska and electro.

On June 13, 2011 the husky hysterical vocal of Bryan Adams can be heard in the city of Rybnik. Bryan Adams’ concert in Poland will be held at the city stadium of Rybnik. City press has named the coming event as the most spectacular show in the history of the city and one of the most important concerts of Poland in 2011. Tickets for the concert of Bryan Adams will be on sale from February 2.

The title of the biggest concert events in Poland Bryan Adams will challenge with one of the most successful rock bands of our time - Foo Fighters. However, now it is only known that Foo Fighters have agreed to visit Poland. Concert dates are still unknown. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that Foo Fighters are unlikely to come to Poland earlier than in spring. Since for the spring is scheduled the next official album release. Last time Foo Fighters played in Poland in 1996 at the resort of Sopot, at the Marlboro Rock Festival. Active tour of Europe Foo Fighters plan to start in June 2011.
