In Poland has begun a month of Photography


In the cultural capital of Poland, Krakow, on May 4 was opened one of Europe's most important cultural events dedicated to the art of accurate reproduction of reality, photography, - Festival "Month of Photography 2010".

The festival promises to once again give the public new photo sensations and break old stereotypes by modern trends and new talents. In the best art galleries of Krakow will be held numerous exhibitions, which will represent to the visitors dozens of new works of young Polish photographers. As in previous years, when hospitable Poland gave the primacy to Germany, Hungary and other European countries, this year the photographic art of the UK will be in the center of the event.

The main leitmotif of this year's festival "Month of Photography 2010" is «Great Britain». The aim of the organizers is to provide not only individual projects related to the themes, but also wide representing of Britain, it’s culture and traditions, people and photography of the great empire. In parallel with numerous exhibitions and photo presentations the festival will present the audience a lot of related cultural events and activities over a broad spectrum.

In addition to traditional exhibition Polish Festival of Photography will present to the audience numerous associated events: slide show, showing of documentaries, unique lectures and seminars led by renowned masters of photographic art in Europe and creative meetings with famous artists. Beginning photographers will have the opportunity to present their work at the traditional Photofolio to the jury of the world's greatest professionals: photographers, publishers, critics and curators.

Prices for accommodation in Poland continue to fall
Polish real estate market is experiencing another phase of decrease. According to the Polish Radio, in the third quarter of 2011 prices for apartments, houses and other types of real estate property in Poland decreased by 1.5% compared with the price level for the same period in 2010.
