If you are interested in Polish cinema, but the lack of language skills do not allow you to enjoy icons of Polish cinema, then it's time to visit Krakow. Throughout April, "Kino Pod Baranami" presents a program of «Polish Films in English», in which the masterpieces of Polish cinema will be shown in English.
"Kino Pod Baranami" is located in one of the oldest palaces in Krakow, owned by Potocki family, and is one of the first cinema halls of the Polish cultural capital and leads its history since 1969. Since its foundation "Kino Pod Baranami" became the art-house with a special chamber atmosphere, where traditional for cinema crunch of popcorn and the smell of overcooked hamburgers were replaced by perfect film program. The main part of the films program is traditionally the best European cinema and art-cinema, bold and independent experiments of young authors. You can see also the cult American film classics and Asian avant-garde movies, enjoy the local premieres and meetings with the creators of movies. Here is also annually held the Festival of silent films.
