Poland apart from summer resorts can please its guests with the recreation in the modern ski resorts, which are among the most popular in Europe. They attract by its relative cheapness compared to the best European resorts, while keeping the same level of service, as well as by the easy routes on good roads, which will not make you tired.
Ski resort Zakopane, located in the Tatra Mountains, is rightfully considered as one of the most popular in Poland. The resort offers a wide range of services: from sports, both for beginners and professionals, and to visiting various cafes, restaurants, shops, etc.
All tracks in Zakopane are well equipped. They are equipped with lifts and cable cars, and tourists will not have to carry the equipment with them, all this you can rent here, and wherever you go, on every downhill there are professional instructors who will help you.
At the ski resort Zakopane you can also find other entertainment. It is possible to walk to the National Park or visit the Ski jumping World Cup and enjoy the skills of the stars of this sport.
Another area of winter recreation in Poland is Szczyrk, which has a great number of tracks for tourists and professionals with the great quality of all of them. They are equipped with lifts and cable cars. All tracks are well-groomed and the snow always lay here. You can also find a small area for training and studying. The snow at this ski resort lay from December to April, while the average height is not more than 1100 meters above sea level.
Recreation in the mountains is possible in the resort Silesian Beskid. Here quality plays the main role in compare with quantity or size. This is a relatively small area, but all tracks are very well equipped, such as Wisla, with its magnificent slopes, modern lifts and cable cars.
In the Pieniny mountains is located the famous resort Szczawnica, as well as the recently opened Ski Center. To the top you can get on the cableway or lift, also all slopes are lit. In addition to the fans of skiing this place is popular among amateurs of snowboarding because of a specially constructed track.
Szklarska-Poreba, the ski center in the Sudety, attracts by its peak Shrenitsa and Ski Arena with a cable car and a few well-equipped ski slopes. Because of holding various championships of Poland in skiing and snowboard, there is also the longest FIS track (4444 meters) and adapted for the night downhill track «Puhatek».
The most fashionable ski resort in Poland is Karpacz. It is popular among ski fans, and especially snowboarders. You can use the new lifts, and two mini-stations with a system of artificial snow-covering of the tracks and lighting for practicing at night and in the evening. And the most important for the amateurs of snowboard is that here in January is organized the Polish snowboard Championship.

Prices for accommodation in Poland continue to fall
Polish real estate market is experiencing another phase of decrease. According to the Polish Radio, in the third quarter of 2011 prices for apartments, houses and other types of real estate property in Poland decreased by 1.5% compared with the price level for the same period in 2010.
